Being Determined Can Be Catastrophically Costly!

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.

Eve became convinced the product of this tree was what she wanted. Adam chose to join her in death and ate. Read the beginning results of their determination to disobey.

 

Gen 15:4 And, behold, the word of Jehovah came unto him, saying, This man shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Gen 16:1 Now Sarai, Abram's wife, bare him no children: and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

Gen 16:2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, Jehovah hath restrained me from bearing; go in, I pray thee, unto my handmaid; it may be that I shall obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Gen 21:1 And Jehovah visited Sarah as he had said, and Jehovah did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

Gen 21:2 And Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

God agreed that Abram and Sarai were childless but informed him they were going to have a child. Sarai wants a child before it is too late and pressures Abram to FIX THE PROBLEM. Abram yields and the product of that determination caused thousands of years of misery that we see today.

God's determined to have his way and blesses Sarah with her child, as he said.

 

Gen 27:11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.

Gen 27:12 My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver. And I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

Gen 27:13 And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son. Only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.

Rebekah determines her favorite son WILL have the father's best blessing and accepts a curse on herself. She had no idea of the cost of that curse.

 

Throughout history, we have records of people deciding they will have what they want, when they want and how they want. God is an equal reporter of his people and their actions. Christians fight God, resist his voice, disobey his Word, lie, cheat each other, commit just about every sin listed and typically justify themselves.

 

In the process of a Christian lifestyle, children are born and raised with the intention they will be Perfect-Good-Better-Best or at least socially acceptable in the Christian community.  Too often, the children turn out like their parents and the other prominent local Christians. Involved in this mess is an ever faithful caring God calling to every tender heart and drawing them to the Truth in Him and His Word by His Spirit.

 

Now those children will have the natural carnal nature of humankind to resist, while trying to refine their understanding and obedience to the Word and Spirit of God working in their hearts. God will lead and guide them to truthful living and woe to the person or persons hindering their progression.

 

Allow me to get personal about my experiences. I am carnal with a desire to be Christian/Christ like. I understand now that many of my hardships in my Christian life were due to my stubbornness, determined mind, ignorance of the genuine correct way of obeying. They were not Trials meant to perfect me, they were hardships from bad decisions and severely costly ones.  This covers the first 66 years of my life.

 

Recently, I was enjoying fulfilling my insatiable curiosity and felt the Spirit nudge me to quit and go a different way. I enjoyed what I was doing and explained all was okay. Two times, three times and THEN my computer locks up and a full screen message tells me I am in the Twilight Zone and it will cost me $200.00 USD to get out and have my PC back.

 

Quick call to the FBI and they explained I was being scammed with a high grade program virus. I confess my sin, asked for forgiveness and help. Mercy was granted and I only had a minor spanking with the PC restored in about one half hour.

 

This was one of my minor violations but was able to emphasize a long standing lesson. There are specific times when God determines his path for my life and it is important I respond correctly and timely and willingly. It is important enough, that any variant will bring immediate discipline, sometimes harsh discipline.

 

I have written about this before and by doing so, admitted I understand the many ways of communication between God and I. Each of us has experienced that communication in some form. Eventually, as with any lesson, the teacher is expecting the students to learn and respond correctly. In this case, the teacher knows the students are learning and choosing whether to obey or not.

 

God is integral to everything. GET OVER IT!

 

Angels are created beings that chose to serve him and minister to us.

 

Whatever we need to know or desire to know that is moral, ethical, righteous, and holy and in accordance with his will, we will be told or taught. If God gives a verse or a word to use for guidance or help with a choice, fine. We need to STOP picking a scripture we like and using it for our purpose. People get in a LOT of trouble doing this. Learn the context of your scripture and what the verse actually meant when it was written.

 

We can do (are able) what is immoral, unethical, unrighteous, unholy but we may not (do not have permission). Each of us WILL be disciplined for these types of actions. Divorce, jail, beat up, destroyed reputation, children gone.

 

We are designed/wired to God and certain other people he chooses. What this means is each of us hears him every day, all day. As this dispensation comes to its end, each of us desiring to receive help, from God, to endure and live; better pull our individual heads out of the ground and unplug our spiritual ears and wipe clean our spiritual eyes.

 

Heaven or Hell. First we will account for our actions before Him and then receive our next permanent residence orders.

 

I prefer you NOT believe me and get into your Bible with God.

Seen that commercial? You can't put anything on the Internet that isn't true!

 

My parents, aunt, uncle raised me to believe!

The subject was on the (Radio, TV) news, I know it's true!

I read it in the News Paper!

RIGHT?!?!

 

Mr., Mrs. Ms., Senior, CEO, Reverend, Pastor, Father, Mother,

told me and I believed...

and then they DID the opposite.

OPTIONS:

 

• Drugs
• Alcohol
• Smoking
• Divorce
• Foul speaking, acting, living
• Turn back on God, walk away and stay far away
• Fix mind and heart on God, look on him, listen to him and stay clean

How do We separate God from...?

If he is so powerful...!

Joh 18:38  Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find no crime in him.

 

Agree, with yourself, Truth does exist.

Trust yourself and gradually another person.

Be open to and search for Truth - Patiently and Continuously.

 

I won't insult you by saying that all will be perfect after finding Truth, because life and people are NEVER perfect, just acceptable. Knowing Truth will be and feel more secure and your confidence in God will mature. As your confidence matures, your relationship with Him will improve, with understanding that He is not responsible for everything we do.

 

BELIEVE GOD'S WRITTEN WORD.

 

BELIEVE GOD.

 

BELIEVE YOURSELF.

 

BELIEVE ANOTHER.

 

So, what's the answer? Is It an ELEPHANT or a DUCK?!?!

 

With all the misinformation, lies, 1/2-1/4-1/8 truth is still a lie, photo shop abilities, special affects and confusion, it can be hard to know. NOT impossible but hard. So what do we rely on?

 

Mat 22:16  And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one: for thou regardest not the person of men.

The doubters of Jesus time still detected and acknowledged Jesus taught the Truth. The morons of his time still knew what truth was.

 

Luke records Jesus reminding us when God sent a person to one other person in need.

You may be that ONE person with help on the way to you.

 

Knowing the Truth will free us to act accordingly.

 

I have always believed many scriptures were meant for everyday use, in our careers and other endeavours. John 16:13, for example, has helped me with plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry and thousands of ordinary functions necessary, at the time.  I am one of MANY that believe in praying for and about everything. Some prayers are months long, others minutes or seconds and SOME are OMG, what do I do now.

What Are YOUR Dreams-Thoughts-Wants?

This week had some good days and others were great. The dentist I visit is sensitive to his patients needs and mine are NO pain. He installed a crown and did a little cleaning, then we scheduled me for a DEEP cleaning. I didn't argue and planned to disappear after my release. I DON'T do deep cleaning or the agony associated with it. The PA found out what I thought about the event and convinced me there were options, so I agreed.

Now God has this thing about when we step forward, he does too and they happened to have an opening that afternoon. I went home for lunch and told Connye I was getting a cleaning.





She responded quickly.   Back to the office and into the cleaning room. This time turned out way different from all the previous years of visits. The Hygienist LISTENED and not only answered my questions but suggested options. I consider these moments water to wine episodes. On my way out, I stopped, at the front desk, for the future paper work and was basically invisible, as the staff did their work. SOOOO, I decided to tell them of my previous morning visit to Zadok jewelers and the watch of my attention. ...and the watch they had was $45,000.00...   Suddenly, I was visible with audio. One asked, how much? $45,000.00. Another, did you get it? No, I don't have the money yet and it wasn't the one I preferred. The one I want is $650,000.00.   Picture, with me, all five people are looking at me, as if I just stepped through a wall into the room. Even the lady filing papers stopped and was staring at me. One asked, will you buy me a house? Another asked if a Unicorn came with the watch. I explained this watch is an art form and is designed to be passed on for the next five generations. It's not the money, its the workmanship. Yeah, Riiiiigggght!



Well, we had a time for several minutes as I suggested they treat themselves to visiting:

a million plus dollar model home,

a private plane showing. Walk in it, sit down, ask questions.

Nostrums,

Motor home, RV,

etc.

 

A commercial reminded me of the dreams and passions of children as each child said, I want to be a:

Fireman,

Doctor,

Ballerina,

Pilot.

 

Friends and acquaintances experienced challenges but kept moving toward their dreams and are now traveling, pilots, happily married, living in their dream home, retired and affording it. Some have stopped dreaming and stopped moving. Ed and I made appointments to attend a private plane Invitation Only event.

 

It is very comfortable, affordable, possible for rent, lease, or purchase ($5,000,000.00).

 

Mat 19:26 And Jesus looking upon them said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

How Old Is That Child?

A friend of mine tells of a event when he was a baby in a crib. He remembers the people in the room, what they were doing and discussing. Many of us know children that think or act much more mature than their physical age. I awoke this morning thinking about events as a child and wondered how my life might have been different. Most adults, I know occasionally ask themselves the same question and the answer may influence how and why we raise our children, as we do.

Before we began the process of birthing a child, I would hear other parents remarking how their baby would react to sounds and activities while still in the womb. I didn't just doubt, I flat did not believe any baby could identify and acknowledge people or songs or animals.

UNTIL

Our Susan came along. 

 

Jane, her mother, would say, "Susan is excited, or she is tired or she is running." I learned to put my hand on Jane's abdomen and could feel the movement Jane was attributing to an emotion. Susan liked Rock & Roll and the acceleration of our GTO. After she joined us, outside her Mom, she would react the same when hearing certain songs or other sounds. As I was washing the car, Susan would pull herself up in front of the steering wheel and reach as far as she could toward the manual shifter on the floor.

 

Now to my thought. How might her life have been different, if we had improved our actions? Fortunately, we turned to God early in her life and those influences remain with her today and how she and Larry raise their children.

Well, it SEEMED that fast, and you parents know, time nor children wait on anyone.

One day, in church, I watched two male children run into each other several times. They would back away, throw their chests out and run into each other, fall down and LAUGHHHHH. Over and over. One night, I tried to stop one of these boys from possible damage of equipment; he turned to me and declared I was not his father and could not tell him what to do. He was about thirty inches tall against my five foot seven inches.
He took off to get his dad, still glaring at me and promptly tumbled down the three platform steps, jumped up and headed for the exit.

Here is how I saw him:

One child asked me, "You WANT A PIECE OF ME!?"

 

So, I sat down in a child chair and let him beat on me until he was tired. We actually became good friends, in time.

When speaking to our young grandchildren,

My children, grandchildren by blood and adoption (Weatherford), and others, have convinced me, life began much sooner than I ever thought. God knew them before, and we meet them now as we build their foundation for the future. What is interesting and often frustrating is our ability to INFLUENCE but not BIND them to our will. From babies to adults each WILL express their WILL.

Most of our children have grown to Godly adults and hopefully the other will follow. Our grandchildren maturing on their foundations and will provide even better ones for their children. All are healthy and love God.

What more could Grandparents ask? To hear their children:

You didn't have these until, WHEN?

Telepathy OR...

My mind often ventures into areas that make most people take a walk away. For example:

• Babies communicate with other babies but not children or adults.
• Dogs communicate to dogs and cats communicate to cats, etc.

Soul mates communicate with each other in a similar manner. Telepathy, energy, wavelengths, What!? There is a connectivity in the Universe between living beings. We are born innocent and sensitive to all life around us; as we grow, we lose our innocence and become insensitive. As babies and young children we see angels, sense God, have an intense affection for nature and forgive easily. 

We are designed to communicate. Animals sense storms, earthquakes and other catastrophic events so they may take shelter. The Bible is a fabulous book that people have spent their lives studying and teaching; yet I believe we know nothing about many of the marvelous things contained.

It tells us:

• there are other civilizations
• worlds were inhabited with rulers
• beings called Angels and Demons travel between Heaven and Earth while interacting with us
• certain Beings are restricted in a place they cannot escape
• humans have a sovereign will God will not override
• humans will live and die during the thousand year reign of God on Earth

I have heard some of the most absurd thoughts about our lives in Heaven. Eternity of sitting around playing harps and such things. Relying on the Bible tells us we will rule on Earth and other worlds and other mundane duties.

NOTE: I will clarify a point here. The Bible is about God, his salvation for us and how to be a conduit between him and humanity. Once people are "saved" we are to maintain and mature our salvation. We are to grow in our salvation/lifestyle, using our gifts/talents to improve this World and prepare ourselves for Eternity. An Eternity of responsibilities and duties with Joy in the presence of God. What "the presence of God" means is beyond myself or anyone to fully explain.

Pro 1:8  My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Pro 6:20  My son, keep the commandment of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Pro 10:1  The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

Pro 15:20  A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.

 

Heb 5:12  For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.

Heb 5:13  For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.

Tit 1:5  For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that were wanting, and appoint elders in every city, as I gave thee charge;

Jas 5:14  Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

The writers expressed various concepts such as maturing in levels from babies to adults, physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Contrary to an absurd saying, the more spiritual a person is the more valuable and productive they are. Spirituality is our connection to God which worked six days and rested one and during those six days he did many wondrous and lasting things.

In a relatively normal world, parents enjoy a close relationship with their children teaching and assisting their growth. Allow me to define "normal" for this blog; moral and ethical thoughts and behavior. This norm allows people to form societies in which individuals comfort, protect, encourage and support each other.

The Bible records a variety of contacts between humans and other beings, some good and not. It also records the option for anyone and any group to communicate with God so they may mature their talents in positive ways. The ultimate source of all knowledge and goodness is available for our mutual benefit. Let's get down where we live.

You have been notified of:

• an inheritance: 30 acres with a lake, 5,000 sq.ft, log home(furnished) and ten million dollars after taxes.
• your final scores are all perfect securing graduation and your Doctorate
• the promotion to CEO is approved

The ONLY CATCH is you have to accept the above. Each item is there, waiting for you and waiting and waiting. Why would we hesitate to possess what is ours, yet we refuse all the time. In my opinion, sometimes we need an Elijah mountain experience or a Moses burning bush. In other words, get alone in an area best for you, clear your head and heart; then decide, if you are going possess it.

Think of Church as the entire Christian community, instead of the building, throughout the World ready to build, heal, secure, be promoted, deliver people from any form of bondage, pass on words of direction, wisdom, correction...hopefully you get the idea.

• We have savings accounts and checking accounts.
• We own our house, land, cars which means we paid cash for them.
• We are available as a conduit of God's works on this Earth.
• We loan but do not borrow.

Shouldn't we check with some one about these things, I mean, "Who pays cash for their homes and cars, except those wealthy people?". Yes, we are to check with God and confirm the directions with his Word. Although all these are for all of us, not everyone believes the Truth and therefore do not bother claiming their items. So they charge their homes, cars, lands clothes, have anemic savings and checking accounts and their conduits are plugged.

• I desire to hold the deed to our house in our hands.
• The title to our cars in our safe deposit box.
• My wife and I desire to give millions through an accounting office to various local, national and international needs. And these gifts are exactly that - gifts not loans.
• When someone has a financial need, we desire to give, not loan, and let God take care of any reimbursement.
• I believe we are in the closing moments of this life and am headed to possess my inheritance, promotion, degree and whatever is listed in my name to have and use.

How can God say, "Well done." if we haven't done anything?
